Reference Sires

In regards to the sires that we choose to use in our breeding program, we are diligent about selecting mares and sires proven for the agility, speed, and cow. After the terrible loss of Cozmo in an accident on the ranch, we are pleased with the new stud, Cougar. As you can see there are several studs that we have used in the history of our program. Each of them demonstrated character shown to be beneficial in our breeding program proven in the colts he sired.

Streakin Otoe Wonder - This thick, well-built stud is the newest to our program. Jet has him riding really nice, and we are so excited to see how his colts will perform. His pedigree speaks for itself.

Cougar - This is the stud that we are currently using to sire all of our mares. While not breeding, we use him on the ranch for a variety of jobs. He has an incredible mind, and is very cowy. Here is a son of High Brow Cat, and a great-grandson of Dash For Cash.

Cozmo - This was one of our most prized studs that anyone would have loved. He was solid in the barrels, goats, team roping and breakaway. Josi rode him throughout her high school and college rodeo career. About three days after her last trip to the CNFR, Cozmo broke his leg in an accident on the ranch, and we had to put him down. We are greatful that we were able to get so many foals out of this outstanding horse. Cozmo is a grandson of both Jet Deck and Rocket Wrangler. Joey's college rodeo horse was the first son out of this horse, and he just confirmed the outstanding genetics that Cozmo offers.
